    Default Thermal Pad sizes??

Hello everyone, i have just received couple items i ordered to water cool my MSI Radeon AMD R9 390 8G, i'll have everything when tomorrow gets here (03.07.2018)
I am trying and trying again for the hardest, and need help purchasing the right sized thermalpads, because i dont want to accidentally rip them off from card to cooler.
not so sure i heard the 1.5 works bad thing is every size come in 120mm 140mm etc unless this is equaling up to the size of the pad sheet. Thanks alot hope everyone
    had a great friday!

Sorry, having a bit of trouble with what you're asking, but I think I'm on the right track. Also, it seems like we've gotten some bots that pushed your posts down and we're addressing that. Back to your question...

I'm pretty sure the 120mm or 140mm measurements are just the overall pad size. The last time I bought some, I just had one strip and had to cut squares with scissors to the size I wanted. Does that come close to answering what you wanted?
