you will be ok with the 9800 but not with the 9600gt though.
check out this one 9800gtx OC for under $130USD and brand new too, well it's all depend where you shop it I guess.

Perfromance-wise, the 9600 compares to the last-generation or lower-end ATI cards.

The 9600 ranks behind the Nv 8000GT, ahead of the ATI 3870, but well behind the ATI 4850. So it entirely depends on the pricing as to whether it's a good deal or not.

Ya you take your chances that way but if you get a card with a good warranty policy then you're set (ie--EVGA). Shipping to Aussieland..........I gotta look into that cuz I'll probably be doing that soon. No idea of the costs.

    sweet, solid.
my buddy says weh he bought the 8800, he made one of the best choices of his life..i was like BS, cuz you paid like 400$.So i laughed.
anyway im a bit confused because with with the difference with getting a lets say 8800 Ati card (replace ati with any other brand but leave the digits) and a 8800 MSI card?
like the companies different buh any preformance increases?
    thanks
