    Default Need your help and opinions..

    I have two 8800 ultras with hydras and a bigwater that im going to sell for $500 flat and Im thinking about selling for a single evga gtx 280 superclocked with a waterblock.You think this is a good deal because performance should be similiar and i can step up once the new GTX 280 55nm come up with in the next month or two months.The 8800 ultras are losing value everyday so should i cut my losses and get on Evga step up program with a GTX 280 SC with a waterblock??

    2x 8800 ultra w/Coolermaster hydra
    Bigwater 760is
    Total=$500

    1 GTX superclocked amazon
    $360
    1 EVGA hydra 16
    $130
    Total=$490

    I read that nvidia will have the new GX2 out soon, only downfall is that it's two GTX 260s, they should have gone with the 280s.

    should be a good deal, but those EVGA water blocks are way over priced, i think u can use a thermaltake universal block and get some memory heatsinks and it should do the same, memory may be a bit warm, but its only $37

    Hi, are you talking about US dollars when you say you're gonna sell your cards for $500? If you are you should consider a 4870X2 for your rig.

    Thanks,

    I ran Tri-SLI with three 800Ultras, which I sold to buy two GTX280s, if I were you, I would either go ahead with the GTX280s, or, wait until next month, and buy the new GX2, you can always by a 2nd GX2 later. nvidia will be showing the card at CES next month.
