    Default Catalyst 9.1

What is new in Catalyst 9.1 and when it is due to be released? It appears to be running rather late this month.

    Haven't heard boo.

Seeing as they don't have PhysX, no real rush for a Mirror's Edge driver

I look for it twice a day now. I can't get crossfire to run with 8.12's even with the hotfix.

I heard today it will utilize quad core processors? What would that do exactly?

Since its the last week of Jan and still no updates about it, it looks as if we won't be getting a 9.1 driver.

Fantastic start to 2009 for us ATi users.

Just checked again...no 9.1 but to be honest i thought 8.12 is about the best ATI driver to date...no issues at all for my 4870x2

but if 9.1 does have further performance enhancement then it will always be welcomed

Maybe they'll just skip to 9.2. Maybe it'll be twice as good as the phantom 9.1?

For me it has definitely got rid of the extremely sluggish boot and its back to normal. Ill test it on GTA IV in a few minutes to find out whether performance has gone up or down on that. A list of fixes would be nice from ATi. It will probably come out today.

No I didn't, just a simple un-install / install new ones. I have never once used Driver Cleaner.

didn't fix it for me. I've got a running ticket with AMD and Diamond to see if there's something that can be done and I'll let you know what I find out.

I'm not running HDMI audio, so I'm not getting any interference that way.
