    Default Cooler for HD 4890

Hi, my temps from my 4890 reach retarded levels of heat and I want to put an end to that. What is the BEST aftermarket cooler I can get for my card?

You do not need an aftermarket cooler just use the Fan controller that came in the catalyst drivers and set the fan speed to about 40%-60% during Gaming. Or you can use RivaTuner to adjust the fan speed at the desired temps

When u say Retarded temps what kind of numbers are you talking about?

I hate the fan it is so damn loud! And when I'm playing with the fan at 40% I for some reason am getting temps in the high 90's.

i think that's kind of stupid. my card didn't create image errors at 100c so i think the guy at ati does know what he's talking about.

I would up the fan to 60% + for gaming with those temps.
"Killdeer" is a precocious shore bird. It's young hit the ground running and it hides in plain sight.

Well if you're up to some work you could pop on an Arctic Cooling Accelero that is if they make them for the standard 4870.
