You can pretty much do everything you could do on the old one its just the layout and look is to simple.

I prefer the older one where you have all your options listed down the left hand side, where as in this one you have to find what your looking for through all these dam menus.

I hate the new nVidia control panel. I have no idea why nVidia came with it as its very complicated.

Just found a poll on Guru3D asking which Nvidia Control Panel people like and guess what the current results are.

    Classic design - 76%
    New design - 9% (lol)

    No surprises there

11051 people have voted so far

And if your wondering about the remaining 14% they reckon that both control panels need to be revamped.

Edit: And i have no idea why the values don't add up to 100

I already did, you go to view and then there is an option for classic control panel.

When your new rig arrives try out both ones and see which one is your favourite.

Edit: Here is some screenshots for the ATi users

Here is the Classic Control Panel

I really like all the options listed down the left

And here is the new one

To simple and hard to find things.

LOL i knew you were going to ask that

Well i believe that running classic theme will take some load of the CPU, and maybe ram, but im not exactly sure. But it does improve overall performance, I just use it because i wanted a change from XP theme and i got hooked on this one.

If you want to use it turning it on through Display Properties - Apperance dosent really work. To get more of a performence boost right click "My Computer", Click on the advanced tab then under where it says performance click settings. And then click the "Adjust for best performence" box
