same with XFX, but with XFX, the warranty can be transferred to someone else.

EVGA doesn't make a 5850. That's an ATI card, and EVGA only makes Nvidia.

Most manufacturers are the same except warranty or bundle. HOWEVER, a couple companies will switch things up with either a different heatsink (Sapphire's Vapor-X for example) or voltage tuning (ASUS). These will allow the card to run cooler or overclock better. But other than that, the reference cards are EXACTLY the same.

Sapphire normally makes the best heatsinks and their cards run the coolest. ASUS makes voltage tweak cards. XFX usually has the best warranty.

XFX does indeed make ATI cards, but EVGA does not.

Knight Kandyman, both cards will "deliver" 100% performance, but Crossfire setup does not necessarily mean they'll scale 100%. It's a subtle but important difference. It depends on the game/application. Folding@Home and FurMark scale 100% more or less, but some games may only give a 50% boost.

Generally speaking, Crossfire scales better than SLI, but it does depend on the game and drivers, so there isn't an easy answer for you, sorry.
