True. I came accorss that story yesterday and honestly didnt know how to take it. But i completely agree with everything James said in that article. Gee, if they dont release a 65nm version And imagine if you bought the 80nm version and then the 65nm rolls out. I think i've had just about enough of the R600. I tell you what when they release it, it better be a dam good product cause they've been milking it for far too long.

I think that AMD and ATi are losing ground to the Intel processors because of this confused and overly delayed released of R600. Their loyal customers are becoming impatient and frustrated by the various conspiracy theories concerning which architecture: 60nm or 80nm - which would you prefer for the bucks per value?

I agree with both Jameson and Ciro, this is making AMD look really suspiciously bad and worse, surreptitiously more devious than Intel has been in the past! Previously I always bought AMD CPU but this time it has been Intel who has released their products quicker, faster and price-friendly too.

Rumours only breed disrespect and contempt with many 'neutral' customers. We all know that bad reputation and distrust breeds bad customer faith and loyalty. AMD and Ati should be aware of this.
