Raidmax is a company I was interested in for awhile, until I realized that every case they had on the market was just a variation. They take one basic "frame", then create a different plastic exterior molding and call it a new model. They'll take one frame and turn it into five or eight "different" cases. We know some companies do this, but it's usually two or maybe three designs at most, and usually with related names; a series. Raidmax clone their cases to epic proportion. Nowadays I just ignore them completely. A stale interior design doesn't change just because of some plastic crap on the exterior. The "Viper" is just one more example.

Earth, the performance segment is 2% of all users and consumers like you and me are definitely not mainstream. I feel the way you do but it makes business sense to have a just few chassis. Mass production = better cost= higher margins I guess. I just do not like the look of their fronts. It is a younger generation thing....

Well, between you, me, and the wall, any case that contains ANY plastic moldings is automatically written off of my list. However, back when Raidmax and Sigma were united, not everything was plastic. They used to offer a decent selection of steel cases with aluminum facades. That's okay in my book. Everything just has to be metal.
