AMD has commenced shipping their first triple-core production Phenoms (which are B2 revision), and quad-core samples (which are B3 revision) to PC manufacturers. Dell and HP have already announced systems including the triple-core 8400 (2.1GHz) and 8600 (2.3GHz) (reviewed here), while AnandTech has tested a bug-free B3 revision quad-core chip against an infected 9600 (2.3GHz), and a 9600 with the BIOS fix enabled (which from past experiences limits performance).
