If you're after a good read, Intel has just released loads of information regarding their forthcoming Nehalem, Dunnington and Larrabee processors. Keeping things brief, Dunnington is a six-core (socket 604) part that sports 16MB of L3 cache, and 1.9 billion transistors. As you're aware, Nehalem is the successor to the Core microarchitecture, which introduces the QuickPath interconnect (FSB's successor) and has an in-built three-channel DDR3 memory controller.
