Default GeForce 9800GTX+ confirmed by Nvidia, already

More evidence of a 9800 GTX+ has arisen in the form of an email from Nvidia. The main reason behind a revision is the HD 4850, which poses as a threat to the green-camp's mid-range sector.

yes, because of 4850 perform too well than they expected so Nvidia pulls out a new trick (GTX+) from their sleeves.

ATI gives Nvidia a run for the money now. This is a good news for comsumers (us) for a long time.

i've not been impressed with AMD lately, but now there GPU strategy is starting to make perfect sense. If they go the "best bang for buck" approach and actually deliver, they are going to start to do really well, i think at least!

looks like the 4850 and 4870 are exactly what people were looking for, i mean just look at the negativity towards nvidia right now over the 280...

The only thing that can stop this is major nvidia price cuts, but then AMD will cut theres again, so i can see us all getting some bargains over the next 6 months
