    Default Nvidia to counter RV770 with price cuts

    Not taking kindly to AMD's RV770 core, Nvidia is reportedly going to shave a respective $30 and $90 off the GTX 260 and 280's price.

    ...thank goodness I didn't buy a GTX 280 (that's even worse than what Apple did with the original iPhone soon after release).

    They could still be fighting an uphill battle with this because so many people with intel chipset now have a viable alternative.

    I think they will eventually have to do an "intel" with their pricing to keep people interested
