Default Switching to Intel, need suggestions

Ive decided that I'm going to switch to Intel. I am going to use most of my other parts, but I need suggestions on the Motherboard and ram. Also I would like to know if my 580W PSU would be a good choice or if i should buy a new one.
    What?

it might be a good idea to wait until Q3, that's when the big pricedrop comes from intel, these ones that just happened are the tip of the iceberg.

Your 580W PSU should be fine, my rig with an 8800 GTS 320MB uses 230W load (no overclocking though).

How much do you want to spend on the motherboard and RAM?

well here's the upcoming pricing for Q3:

As for the motherboard, they'll be new boards with support for DDR3 around that time (i think)

580w should be sufficient unless you plan on running a 8800GTX or something similar.. then a 700w + would be advisable.

    Hmm.. mobo is pretty tough..

Asus P5B - stable, reliable, damn great overclocking
Asus P5W - Stable, reliable, good overclocks, XFire
Abit IN9 - stable, reliable, feature rich, good overclocking, SLi

    cool, thanks guys.
I think I'm gonna keep my eye out for that E6750....
With that said I'm probably going to have to wait because there are limited motherboards with 1333 I guess, and i don't know about the memory yet.
look forward to another 534315 posts during Q3

I own a striker extreme.Great board but dont buy unless you have the cash.It is overpriced for sure. although it has gone down in price. Gr8 for overclocking too. Try reading custom pc they have some great reviews on all pc parts.

I have a EVGA 680i-AR and I have had zero problems with it, it will run at 1333 and my board has lifetime warrenty. I also own the ASUS Striker and have had zero problems and it will also run the 1333 that you are looking for, I never use a PSU with less than 700w on powerful overclocking boards such as these two
, and I overclock all of the time.
