    I had heard about the compatibility with socket 1155 too. A BIOS flash was going to be required for it to work.
    It was also said that that bios flash would allow the chip to work on 1155, but all of the CPU's features would not be supported without buying a brand new board with a newer chipset.

    Nice!!! but the price tag is not so nice!! I really like the new performance of these chips. Would def like to see some 3.0 cards come out and see what these can really do..
