After joining the forums, I was going to build another desktop, with an Intel 3770k.
Not sure if that's good, or if there is better, but this.. this is insane. Pricey too.

It also runs warmer than my 3960X which is rated at 130W I believe the 3970X is 150W and close to $200 more

Intels doing the same thing they did with the 980X, if you remember towards the end of the year they released the 990X. I'd rather save another grand and buy two GTX690s, before jumping on the 3970X
