    yea, they are great articles, quad core is the future, especially when it comes to rendering/encoding

    The question becomes how much is too much. Until programs can use the multiple cores this is a waste. Duo core...sure people often do a couple of things at once but honestly if you think about it how often are you doing 4 things at once...and how much other system resources are you going to need to efficiently use 4 cores at once.
