    does the E6600 have and unlocked multiplier, if so how do i access it?

    no, not to my knowledge anyway. I think only the mighty X6800 has an unlocked multiplier.

    apparantly certain steppings could be unlocked with certain motherboards, i forget which ones were the best at this, could have been gigabyte and perhaps asus, and it was most certainly only those using the P965 chipset.

    i never really did any research into all this as i had an X6800 so that's all i know :$
