    Default Network Running Now

I just got my home network running. Ive got 3 pc's connected through a wireless router. It wasent working for like a year because ZoneAlarm (my firewall) was on stealth mode. Anyway i put a wireless card in my living room pc and it appeared on my office pc. So after playing around a bit i got my rig connected to them both.

Now i can access every hard drive on my network from my pc. Its great.
But heres the twist. I can only do it if i disable my firewall. AND IM NOT DOING THAT. I've tried to add the computers to my trusted zone but that didnt work.
If anyone here uses Zone Alarm and knows how to add a pc to the trusted zone could they please tell me. I tried adding the IP address but that didnt work. For the next few days i'll be running some experiments. Prob have it worked out in a few days. But id still like to see what other people think.

sorry i cant help the way you would want because i dont use zonealarm, but i can tell you i've been using a router for like 3 years now and they have some built in firewalls which work great, and i use NOD32 just to be safe. never had a threat thisway

exactly, if you have a router you can normally loose the firewall as they have them built in. it's always good to have a software back up solution though, but Zone Alarm would not be my first choice because its a pain in the ass to set up.
