I'm glad for you. I had Toshiba problems in the past too. Sold the notebook because of it. Got an HP instead and it's easy to get drivers for.

No hate for the 8.1, Just got 2 SSD's as well as a new Lappy, and i swapped the HHD with the new SSD, didn't want to have to put the HHD back in and use it, i wanted the cool factor or running my Lappy on 1 of my new SSD's, and this is the 1st time I have such issues with Toshiba, it was the other way around with HP, I have a nightmare of a time fixing my buddies HP, and all the Toshiba's I have had have been Champ's, and the price was right for this one. Thanks again man, you rock! It seriously turned my Christmas around!

You can have a try the Driver Navigator on the hp drivers download site, it is a powerful software, and can help you solve the problem easily and fast!

Try to use the Microsoft Update to help you to download and update the drivers first, it will not install all drivers here, but it will be fast. And then maybe you can try to find the acer aspire drivers from here: https://www.driverdr.com/acer-drivers/acer-aspire
