Default Eurocom Shark 3 (Clevo W355SS)

I have received my new Shark 3 for college and have been playing around with it.

    Specs:
    Intel Core i7 4810MQ
    GTX 860M (maxwell)
    8GB Corsair Vengeance 1866MHz
    120GB mSATA SSD (OS)
    500GB Hitachi Travelstar

Before I purchased this system, I did some research on the 860M.. the Kepler variant and figured I could upgrade it in the future. Sadly it's the Maxwell GPU and is soldered into the board. It seemed like a buzzkill at first, but after some messing around I couldn't be happier! I am honestly astonished at it's performance AND overclock-ability.

I googled away in search of a way to push the system and came across the Prema BIOS Mod for Sager/Clevo notebooks. The flash went successfully and gave me a host of options to play with.

Of course, I couldn't leave well-enough alone and HAD to figure out a way to OC this thing. The headroom of the Maxwell 860M is crazy!!

The stock clocks are 1029MHz on the core, 1253MHz on the memory. I have so far pushed the core to 1300MHz and memory to 1453MHz. And the crazy part is... I have not hit a boundary yet! Keep in mind, I do have the system on a cooling pad with the fans maxed out while doing this.

I'll get some benchmarks and screenshots posted for you guys!

Not bad at all for a notebook. Glad it worked out for you.
