Default Is this a good deal?

I have an opportunity to buy this ASUS G75VX second hand laptop for $1070 approx. The laptop is 1.5 years old, in excellent condition, with all accessories and Nvidia 3D glasses included, still with 2 months of local warranty (by local ASUS representative).
Specs and model can be seen here:
    ROG - G75VX - ASUS
I would like to hear your opinions.

    not to bad a cpu, for a mobile,,,,4 cores @ 2.4 gig
    PassMark - Intel Core i7-3630QM @ 2.40GHz - Price performance comparison

    ok-ish video card
    Specifications | GeForce
as a nvidia 3D owner and user i can honestly say it is not worth having.

for that price i'd rather it have a SSD instead of a hd/ssd hybread
i never was impressed at all with my hybread

you'll still need a docking station, a second keyboard mouse, monitor, external hd
and i would ABSOLUTELY put win7 pro on it
    no way i'll use win8

    i'd offer them 900 flat

just because they r ok with being ripped off to begin with does not mean it's ok with you letting it roll downhill

honestly my cell phone has very very close specs
4 core cpu, 4 core gpu, and i can dock it the same way as a desktop replacement
    food for thought
pleas take a moment to watch and share this in it's ENTIRETY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20RoAfflGCM

I agree, especially with the $900 offer. In fact, I don't know if I'd offer any more. The MSI gaming laptops aren't much more expensive and you'd be getting the latest maxwell mobile GPUs as well with being brand new, and an i7-4700 series. I think they're asking a bit to much for the amount of use.

OK, guys, thanks, I appreciate your opinion. I've offered $900, but he stayed firmly at $1050, therefore, we had no deal.

    I agree. Don't go higher than 900.
