Default power switch problem in Sony PCG-V505B series notebook

I recently acquired a Sony notebook with a power switch malfunction due to switch de-assembly during previous owner's use.

I'd appreciate a brief tutorial from someone experienced with re-assembling the power switch, to include amount of case & other teardown necessary to do the job. I'm a newbie with tools, but no experience. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for looking here.

Interesting......your registration says USA, but your IP is routed through India. And your signature was removed for advertising........hmmmmm.........I call shenanigans.

If you really want help, perhaps you should consider posting relevant info like a real person would.

Oh sweet, a spambot that creates threads and then uses a second junk account to answer its own questions. I haven't seen this strategy before; usually just the single opening post.
