Default Help choosing 6GB set brand

Should I go 1600 or 1866Mhz default for a 6GB set, also which brand is the best.. and why?

Look at these setup and their results:
    http://www.pureoverclock.com/review.php?id=1078&page=5
    http://www.pureoverclock.com/review.php?id=1106&page=6

Why the MSI has a better performance, does it have anything to do with the Memory or more mobo/gpu clock wise?

After few reviews and opinions gathered I'm stuck at 2 options: Corsair or GSkill? Also no clue about wich default frequency I should get, for a newbie at OC 1866 would be a better choice rite?

Its all about how much are you willing to spend. If you ask me go with Corsair Dominator GT 1866 or get the 1600 and overclock them. You got to give some info though about what the rest of the system would be.

The MSI may have higher clocks. RAM won't matter all that much.

Also, ECS isn't well known for quality. Keep that in mind.

The RAM speed won't matter terribly IMO.

Good and solid setup.I stick with what i told you above get the 1866 if you can afford them or go with the 1600 to save some bucks and overclock them.As i understand this setup is mostly for gaming so i would concentrate to other things like a better gpu.

Thx! I think I'll go with 1800+ like this one: OCZ Reaper 6GB DDR3-1866 or a GSkill 1866 also... or a Patriot Viper II Sector 7 6GB DDR3-1800, they are better priced than Corsair and not that much behind.

Two standards GTX 460 1GB OC beats one HD5970 4GB, thats good enough for me! Also huge gain in price/performance. The MSI HAWK OC would kick it ass, period!

The RAM speed won't matter terribly IMO.
Cool, but since 1866 isnt a sack of gold, I'll go for it

I have always used Corsair XMS or Dominator and had great luck with overclocking. 1866MHz will allow a lil more headroom to OC.
