Default New 16Gb of G.Skill SNIPER series ram:)

    Hello friends,

I had 8gb of OCZ ram but had some issues where I could not get it stable at the ratings that it is designed for so I had an opportunity to change things out. I went and researched and really liked what I read about G.Skill and especially the RipJaw series and Sniper series.

Placed my order with newegg and received both sets of 4GB sticks yesterday...installed last night and flawless.

They are the G.Skill Sniper series, 1866 MHz, timings are 9-10-9-28 and they are amazing. It is pretty cool to see 16GB and I know that I will not need that for many years to come, but I decided to get all of it rather than waiting and possibly not be able to find it.

I used the XMP Profile in the bios and basically it sets itself up and your ready to go. Very happy. I also have a neat little item coming July 1st---it is a ram cooler from G.Skill that has 2 little fans that remove the heat, but having them at 1.5v doesn't create a bunch of heat

    Just wanted to share
