    Manufacturers the world over are all gearing up for the launch of Intel’s upcoming Sandy Bridge – E platform based on the X79 chipset. G.Skill is ahead of the game and has already sent us one of their brand new memory kits.

    G.Skill has come up with a new version of their Ripjaws line for the X79 launch – Ripjaws Z. These sticks boast some impressive specs for such a giant kit.

    I'm pretty sure this kit is in house waiting to be reviewed, still working on getting the chip, but the X79 samples are being shipped

    I like the look of these sticks. Not too flashy, but the heatsinks look like they'll actually work well ablating the heat.
    Look forward to seeing how they perform on X79 parts.
