    Default 1T vs 2T

when i set the value in my bios for 2T everything works fine, but when i set it to 1T it says windows is corrupted.

would it be worth it to reinstall windows and get the 1T setting?
    What?

pretty sure running 1T with 4 dimms on the A64 platform is impossible. You need to run it at 2T.

not sure if the same limitation is found with 3 dimms, could be, though.

It is a delay clock cycles
eg: 1T = one clock cycle and 2T = two clock cycles

try both and do some b/w tests with everest, then come tell us if 1T was worth it over the extra MHz as i don't know which one will come out on top

so by giving it a 2T delay you can crank the speeds up higher but its slower to respond? and vice-versa. thanks Deton

ok from my benchies, i found that pushing speed mhz is far better than trying to push timings. i couldnt get 1T stable at all over 1100mhz so i just decided to push 3-3-3-9 with the 1T.

Actually, according to my tests, for ddr2, best results are coming with 4-4-4-12 settings. e.g. 1100 mhz 4-4-4-12 is better than 900 mhz 3-3-3-8 or 1300 mhz 5-5-5-15.

    2t of course.
1t is almost useless with ddr2.
it was much more effecive with ddr.
