    Default RAM Problem?

Hey guys. I just joined PureOverclock so this is my first post.

Anyways, my RAM's default speed is 3-3-3-8 at 200 MHz but my BIOS automatically puts it as 2.5-3-3-7 at 166 MHz. I did "Use Optimized Settings" in my BIOS but it still doesn't work. I also checked the Centon website to see if the default was 3-3-3-8 at 200 MHz and it is. Yet my BIOS won't let it go to defaults.

I tried to manually set it but my computer boots up, goes to the windows loading screen, then goes to my log on screen and then a BSOD comes up and restarts my comp. It does this every time I switch it to 3-3-3-8.

Currently, I'm just using it at 2.5-3-3-7 at 166 MHz. Would it just be better off leaving it?

    Which one is faster?
    2.5-3-3-7 at 166 MHz
    or
    3-3-3-8 at 200 MHz

    Sorry for the long post.

DOesn't sound like very good memory to begin with but if youre not overclocking you might want to try putting more voltage through the memory to get the 200MHz 3-3-3-8 you're after.
