    Default RAM is triple channel but on cpu-z says dual channel

    What is up with this?

    Also make sure your RAM is in the correct 3 slots. Check your mobo manual to make sure. And make sure they're pushed down and locked into place.

    Is CPU-Z picking up the full 6 gigs?

    Gigabyte UD3 motherboard has only 4 Ram Slots and you need to populate the 3 sticks of Rams into the same 3 white color slots to get triple channel. If incorrectly placed 1 of the 3 sticks into the Blue slot you will only get dual channel
