    hey,
    I am Building a AM3 gaming Rig and saw the new OCZ AM3 optimized RAM should i grab some of this?

    was going to go with a 4GB 1600Mhz G.Skill Kit but to me this looks like a better option.

    What it looks like to me is that they have taken the memory that was has to be used in a Core i7 system (due to the 1.65v limitation), and applied it to a dual channel kit. Seeing as how AMD chops support up to 2.0+v on memory, you should be able to OC the crap out of this memory. Give it a shot, and let us know how it works out.

    The only problem that I see with it is that it won't match your motherboard, lol.

    Those are the Cas 8 modules.
    Newegg also has the CAS 7 modules for $89ish.
