Default Are my Temps to high

I have a Gigabyte board with a AMD 620. Speedfan says I have core temps at 61 c.

I checked in bios to disable smart fan control so the cpu fan would run full speed.

I checked automatic fan control in Speedfan. My Cooler is the stock AMD. I overclock by the fsb to 225 x 13. Then the temp went to 66 c. So I went back to stock bios settings.

The Thermaltake Frio is a very nice on, dual fans for push pull included.

If you check out the review section here on the forum you will find a good number of reviews on coolers.

Very nice selection, your temps should improve dramatically.

Update on my Thermaltake Cooler: http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/7739/tempsl.jpg

Core was 61c. I am happy...The cooler came all the way to the side panel and push a little against my memory. This just an ATX case. Seems to be working well. I used both fans and removed my back case fan.

61 is high. Download core temp or HWMonitor in our download stickies..... as it shows all 4 core temps. You may not be applying tim properly and what is your voltage

I have always had luck with Phenoms at lower HTT(FSb) and higher Multi. Watch your ram speeds as you may have to play with divider and also NB and Hypertransport. If you do not pass stress test, yes raise voltage. Keep temps at load under 55 and you will be golden.
