I like ACER personally, but your question inspired me to take a look at whats happening out there in the world of monitors. The prices are varied but more or less seem to have gone in the wrong direction lately....UP! WTF? I paid $210 Canadian 1 year ago for my 26" Acer HDMI monitor, which i might add has been awesome for gaming. I wish i had two of them.

I see you're from The Shwa! Welcome to PureOC!

When you say 24", do you mean 1920x1200 or 1920x1080? Also, chances are just about any decently priced 24" monitor will be a TN panel, which means they'll all perform about the same. If you want to go Eyefinity, my suggestion is try to find a monitor with a thinner bezel and DisplayPort connectivity if possible. If no DisplayPort due to budget issues, buy an adapter for $30 and grab the best value/price monitor that's decent. Spending big bucks on a TN panel will not do you any good except wasting cash.

That 23" Samsung will look slightly sharper than the 24" if you have good eyesight. Price is great too. With 3 monitors running simultaneously, I doubt you'll notice a difference between 23" and 24".

just ordered that exact one thanks

I also decided to go with 3 of these
    http://www.canadacomputers.com/produ...item_id=030980

they are only 5ms but i think the 70000:1 ratio is pretty good as i am not going to see much of a difference between 2ms and 5 ms

Good choice, you will not notice any difference between 2ms and 5ms, not to worry.

Booyah! So what do you think of gaming in ultra wide? I was thinking it might be fun but I have not seen it in person yet.

Wow, sorry about reviving the dead. I was just desperate for info. Well since I already did, has anyone else set up tri-monitor? How do you like it, was it worth it? Have you also tried a single 27-30 inch monitor? Which did you like better?
