    Default 120Hz and gaming

I have heard that it is a big upgrade, particularly with FPS games, if you can keep your frame rate at or above 120. A friend of mine swears by them and says 60Hz monitors look laggy after 120Hz (I don't know him in person so I haven't been able to see first hand).

So are they as good as all that? A worthy upgrade?

I can tell you that nvidia 3d vision requires a 120hz refresh.
