Default Steppin up my monitor game?

I've been shopping around for a new larger monitor. I run a dell 23" ST2310 CCFL backlit 1080p nothing special. It was a bargain when i bought it a few years ago, So I saw this n Dell's site DELL Dual Monitor Bundle - Qty 2 - Dell UltraSharp U2312HM 23-inch Widescreen Monitor with 3-Year Warranty and Dual LCD Monitor Horizontal Desk Stand : Monitors | Dell I was only thinking of buying one larger monitor, I was gonna go for a 27" single but for a couple hundred more is it worth getting this 2x 23" IPS ultrasharp's? They are supposed to be the cream of the crop aren't they I've heard the Ultrasharps are nice and IPS panel tech is the best LCD fab tech so far.??? thoughts? If i should stick to the original plan of one large monitor, any recommendations? no $1000 screens though. The 2x dell 23" deal is about as much as I will pay and I have a government line of credit and discount with dell so its easy buying from them. Thanks Guys!

Check out this deal. I have been super stoked, but idk if there is any hope of the warranty being honored if there is ever a problem. Hopefully it lasts long enough that if it goes earlier than a Dell I will have gotten my $ worth already. Not a risk everyone is willing to take but I thought I would pass it along.

Before I got that, i was looking and looking an was about to get 3 of those monitors you linked to because they seemed like the best for the size, price, and features. Just some thoughts.

If my wife actually wanted either of those things I would be so excited that I would buy her whatever she wanted, she is the most un-materialistic person ever, Its horrible trying to buy her gifts. I just randomly buy stuff now just to see if she'll like it. I'm easy I could write a list of gifts for my next 10 birthdays/xmas' right now! She has very nice jewelry and diamond rangs and **** but she ends up not wearing it. Its a gift and a curse I guess. She's more into maybe going on vacation somewhere far away and seeing other culture's and exotic foods and stuff. The Navy has worked out pretty well for us the first 3 years we were on the same ship and had to keep it on the DL, but we got to go all over Asia and pretty much everywhere you can go in the pacific together and do fun ****.

So I spent hours weighing all options. After much deliberation I ended up not getting the 2x 23" w/neat stand. I called dell and used my jedi mind tricks to get 3x U2312HM's for 219.00 each and no shipping so for about the same price as the 2x +stand I got three of them. So will the 680 have enough grunt to drive 3x monitors? I have ZERO experience w/multiple display's?

I should get them by the 10th, does anyone have recommendations for a 3xmonitor stand? I've looked at some but its hard to tell how well they actually work.
