Default Giant displays cheap from Korea

Anybody here try one of these? There are hundreds of thousands of views on another site regarding these monitors. I'm very curious about them at this point. Just wondering if there are any real world experience here.

My main focus lately had been photo, video, and getting back into 3d modeling. There is a pivot model of these available to go from landscape to portrait. I have always used 2 screens for Photoshop, but to have 2 27" screens with one in portrait for the main workspace, and all the tools you could ever need for a whole project open on the other.

Not sure if this link will work because I'm doing this on my phone, but I'll try.

Thanks for the review link, some good info there. I'm really trying to keep this as a budget build. But I'm really drawn to this size display for video/photo work. I like the possible option of the pivot stand on some models. The ability to have my work full screen in either portrait or landscape on one display, and every tool I could conceivably need open on the other display. many possibilities there.

Aryan, keep us updated how well it performs for you in the future. I'm really curious how the long term is on these.

Who am I kidding, when I moved in here I didnt even bring my desk because I dont really have room for it, so I dont know where I'm going to put my new build. Even less room for it if I end up with 2 of these down the road like I want. Dont really need a dining room do I?

Erick, they say 10 bad pixels is fine, I would never accept a display with 10 bad pixels. Another thing is that if anything were to go wrong with the monitor, you would have to ship it back to Korea, which would cost a small fortune, so think about this before taking the plunge.

I have a 2011 Dell Ultra Sharpe 30 inch with 2650 x 1600 resolution, never had a problem, no bad pixels, and a 4 year warranty, plus if anything goes wrong I can get a replacement cross shipped and have it here in 24 hours before sending my monitor back. Comes with HDMI, DVI, and Display Port, plus all the cables for them. Best of all I got to pay monthly for it, and while doing that also received a $1000 raise in credit from Dell, bringing my limit to over 3 grand

Some have a lower amount of allowed bad pixels. I saw some that are premium which day something like pixel perfect or similar. But I'm not one to really jump into a purchase of this cost, especially from overseas, without a bunch of research.

I just can't see myself dumping $800 and up for one of these from Dell, apple, or the others.
