Default Benq 24 inch TFT - Resolution settings

I?m planning to buy this monitor to use as a stand alone screen for my XBox 360, which connects via a HDMI connection on the monitor.
The screen has a native resolution of 1920 x 1200, but the 360 supports 1920 x 1080 or 1280 x 1024, which one could I use, would the higher one be ok as it?s nearly the same...?

The higher one is nowhere near the same, 1920x1080 is Widescreen, 1280x1024 is Standard. 1920x1080 would be excellent for gaming on a 360.

The only tft monitors I could find offering 1920 x 1080 cost more than ?5000 !
Maybe a HD telly then, at least they have the 360?s resolutions ?
I?d have prefered a tft screen though.
