hmmm, somehow the sound source has to get to the monitor and there is no input for it.

I do see your problem, the only thing i can think of is to get the vga cable with phono's, then get a cable like this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Phono-Female.../dp/B000Q8KSS0 though it might not be the right cable, depends on the inputs on the speakers you have.

What ya really want is an AV amp and speakers, but i do get your condundrum

So any suggestions? something cheap and good(under lets make it $180 AUD)

    Microsoft Windows XP Pro SP3
    Intel Pentium D 2.80GHz(runs at 5.04GHz)
    2GB DDR2 RAM

Intel 945g(guess you might need to know that)toy story apartment Austin

now im pretty sure my motherboard is good sodon'tont need to tell you that

    22" Acer V223w LCD monitor
    That'sats all i know thnx guys =]
you can pick up a 4850 for about $120 USD. and if you wanna save more money get a 4770. most cards these days will handle CS:S easily

the 4770 overclocks pretty well. here's a link to Jakes review http://www.pureoverclock.com/review.php?id=744
