Default i got dvi but what is the difference?

ok so if you dont know i got a LCD for mas and stuff and, like on my older CRT it had a vga connector, so i used that for about...a day, then just today i went to the store and bought a dvi cable for like 25 dollars.

Now my question is how much better is DVI compared to VGA?
    What?

You get a better picture usually on the higher resolutions.

at 1680 by 1050 the only difference i see is that the cable actually sized the screen down a little so it fits perfectly with the LCD

I have not got DVI on my PC, but I heard it is better. Less fuzziness and clearer picture I believe.
