    Talking new monitor

    Thinking of getting a new monitor, I'm using a 19" atm and want a 22". The price range i am looking at is 175, poss an LG make, ant thoughts on this make or others known?, would consider a 24" if price is right but then Christmas is over.....

    on the 24" front, only one comes to mind on a budget and that's the one at OCUK with a PVA panel. Yes, it's over your budget but the rest of those cheap 24" screens are nowhere near as good as this one, i wouldn't recommend them, not when this bargain of the year exists.

    on the 22" side of things, i'm not so sure. They all use TN film panels and im not a fan of them really. They will all be kind of similar. The Samsung 226 models are meant to be good but may have been superceded since i last looked (about 4-5 months ago). i owned one and can't say i like the styling up close. looks cheap.

    Thanks, tho by the time i have saved for the complete upgrade (Pc as well) prices and products would of changed but i am inching towards the 24 side just depends on what is around when the Tax man pays me.......
