Default Dream Scene for Windows 7

    Hi All!

Here's a handy tool that allows you to setup wmv file as your desktop background. Now You may say that you wont install it as it will be consuming your precious recourses. I say you're right but on the other hand it is nice little tool that allows you to impress your wife/girlfriend/ in-laws or whoever else you choose. So here it is:

    First download this:

    instructions:

    1: Copy and Paste DreamScene.dll to %windir%\system32\

    2: Copy and Paste DreamScene.dll.mui to %windir%\system32\en-US\

    3: Run Dscene.reg

    4: Reboot

Then there is a fix tocure 2 things
    1. Sometimes the Dreamscene doesnt start automatically at windows startup
    2. change color of the font on desktop icons so the names are visible when dreamscene is installed

    heres the link:
To get the wmv files you can either do an edit from favourite movie or you can visit www.dreamscene.org for some already done

    Disclaimer:

Above files were uploaded by me and I guarntee that they are not containing any malicious code( Or at least I haven't detected any therefore I am unaware of it). Both patches have been tested by me and scanned with ESET Smart Security 5

Hope you will enjoy it :-)

This will allow you to play it on your desktop (as long as it is .wmv file. To edit you would have to find some program that will allow you to cut the scene and save it as .wmv

    edit:

heres a tool I found ,its a free trial (havent used it tho):

    http://www.wondershare.com/wmv/convert-avi-to-wmv.html

    edit 2:

Just to show you how it works:
    1. Do what was said in 1st post
    2. download http://www.dreamscene.org/load.php?C...&AL=Yes&ID=138
    3. Unpack to whatever folder you want
    4. right click on the wmv file and select " Set as desktop background"
    5. Go to your desktop and enjoy :-)

I can but it will miss the point of it.... The point of it is to put a video as your desktop background
