Default How often do you defrag, virus scan, clean-up etc.

    Hey guys

Just curious to know how often you defragment, scan for virus/spyware and have a general clean-up of your system.

I defrag about every 2 weeks, scan for virus every few days and have a major clean-up weekly.

I defrag nightly, scan for spyware nightly and clean up nightly, but I virus scan yearly, unless I get a virus.

Does anyone use the check for errors tool under the tools tab. I've done it a few times but the second one takes ages.

And while i'm at it - instead of using the disk cleanup tool - get CCleaner. It's way faster and better.

    Default Me

I defrag once fortnightly, scan for viruses and spyware 3 or 4 times a week, clean up (ccleaner) everyday.

Everybody I really recommend you to download, Advanced WindowsCare V2 Personal its a great free app that cleans your registry, junk files, cleans a bit of spyware, optimises your settings, fixes security flaws and more! TRY IT!
