Default Which OS is your choice of Drink?

Ok guys I have always been a Windows guy because I'm too lazy to do all the exceptions in Most Linux OS's to play with them. I had a work colleague tell me about Fedora. Anyone use this Linux Based OS? Ubuntu doesn't spark my interest anymore and I want to get into an OS that is Linux based and easy for my lazy butt to use. I hate having to use Wine on Linux but whatever to use my Windows programs... I love Windows 7, and 8 is a joke. What do you guys prefer?

Im partial to win7,it the best OS. On the other hand Ive been using ubuntu a lot lately and enjoying it so far,the learning curve kills it for most though. I havent tried fedora or wine yet. I just dont see a linux OS as my main system os, i think windows will always be #1. Just my as well

For Linux, I really like Zorin OS.
It looks the most like Windows, can be made to look like XP, WIN-7, or Mac OSX.
I'm messing with it now and it works well.

TeeBlack have you heard of Dream Linux? I'm not even sure it still around but it was a blatant OSX visual knock off.

Currently just booting Win7. Although I will be dual booting Ubuntu and Win7 on my desktop, when ever it gets built.

If you have a severely underpowered system, check out Lubuntu!

IDK the kernel version, but it's based on Ubuntu, so I think it will fold.
I have it on an old Pentium PC that was an XP box in it's day. 2GB of RAM and a pair of 60GB hard drives in it.
It's running better than XP ever did on it.

I also have an i7-870 Lynnfield system that is going to get Zorin once I have the time.

I have it on an old Pentium PC that was an XP box in it's day. 2GB of RAM and a pair of 60GB hard drives in it.
It's running better than XP ever did on it.

I also have an i7-870 Lynnfield system that is going to get Zorin once I have the time.
If its based on Ubuntu i should be golden thats gves me a lot of hope, this system will only have a 90-120BG SSD so it should fly!
    Thanks again Neil!
Side Note: My wifes comp is running an i7-860 and what a beautiful chip how do you like the 870?

I've had it for years. I won it as part of a full system and never gave it up. It still works great.
It's like an Energizer Bunny CPU.
