    Default Win 7 not recognising drives.

    G'day all,

    I'm just rebuilding my desktop box adding a couple of SSD's in a raid array, but windows doesn't find some drives. Whats in there is;

    Win 7 64 bit pro

    ASUS Rampage IV extreme Mobo

    Blu Ray
    128 Gb SSD
    2x 256 Gb SSD's (RAID 0)
    1x 1 Tb HDD

    My BIOS recognises the Blu Ray and the RAID array, but doesn't display the 128 gig SSD or the 1 Tb HDD, but windows only sees the 128 and 1Tb. The weird thing is that I installed windows from the Blu Ray, so it knows that it's there!

    I've installed new raid drivers from ASUS, that didn't work, so I'm starting to butt my head up against the wall.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated

    Shane

    Anything showing up in Device Manager with a yellow exclamation point? At a guess, I'd think perhaps your chipset drivers aren't installed correctly.
