If you have 32bit version ID# then just call up MS and they will send you a 64bit version with the shipping cost, that it is. The only Ultimate version contain two discs (3)2 & 64bit in one package.

I've never had 64-bit. What is the difference between that and 32-bit for vista?

Default Vista64 installed now 2 wks

Well I got Vista64 installed ( was real quick and EZ ). All has been real good so far. Got games installed thru steam CS Source, TF2, DOD Source, CIV4, Half Life 2, plus WoW and Left 4 Dead.
    ALL WORK GREAT!!!
The only problem I have had is getting Flash 10 installed into IE (32 or 64 bit).

System boots real quick I have disabled UAC, but rest is still pretty much out of the box.
