    Default Windows 7 RTM

Hey folks I have a question regarding the RTM that was released a while back and subsequently leaked on the internet.

If one gets a copy of this and a key can it be installed and used and activated for an indefinate period of time or does the RTM expire come march as the release candidate does?

I know I should just go and buy it but I am thinking of going the cheap route as 4 daughters is starting to cost us a lot of money...

It depends if you have a good key code from when windows was passing then out, but now that they released windows 7 I'm not sure if they will still let the key codes work.

The way I understand it the RTM (release to manufature), RC (release candicate), if you have the legit keycode then it will work until MS catch up to you. Because they will put that keycode until black list. The more people use the same keycode the sooner the code is useless.

if it is a single license then they will do that.
The same as retail version, you can install as many time you like on different comupters but if you have two computers run simultaneously at the same time. Eventually MS will knows that you are using a single license on two computers then your keycode will be invalid. They have eyes and ears hiden deep in the Windows
