Pretty good. Lowest I got was 38 I believe. Next time I did it, it was 53, then the next time it was 45. Same computer, same Windows 7, same processes, which isn';t much because I don't run much before the system starts. Another reason why my times are well under 50.

I hardly ever turn my PC off.. only for app reboots. Restart time isn't important to me.

But it does show how lean/fast your PC is.... mainly HDD performance.

OK, I have 10 programs load at start-up so I don't think this is too bad.

    49 seconds

Dam it, I still cant post an image. Its a ping and 37K so I think Sky hates me and has the forum set to refuse all images from me.

Keeps telling me its not a valid image file. Whats up with that Jake. LOL

    OK, ImageShack still loves me.

I guess I had better update my hardware, that stuff listed is all wrong.

With my pc running a lot of software, I normally turn it on and have a cigarette. After the cigarette my PC is ready to be used. Working in an iMac at the office, it is as fast as lightning. Will try the software this afternoon just to see how long it takes. hehe

Installed my new Vertex 2 and it is still 4 seconds behind the HDDBoost combo. I have seen nothing yet that beats it, and I do not know the reason why.

Ricks, with the HDDBoost running, how fast is your best boot speed? And, if you're willing to test - how fast is your best bootup with "diagnostic startup" temporarily enabled in MSConfig?

Oh, wait... just realized that your 32 second bootup is with the HDDBoost. Very impressive! So, are you willing to test a "diagnostic startup" to simulate a clean Windows install?
