Heh, already started this thread a while back, but it was labeled for Vista. Once I can ever get my system up and running again, I'll see how fast it goes. Although, I'm honestly thinking of no longer using Windows, unless its needed for Photoshop or gaming. I'm probably going to switch over Kubuntu. Boot times should be amazingly fast running Linux, as compared to Windows.

with steam going to Mac, I think it's going to Linux soon/eventually.

that'll make for a great reason to go to linux!

Here's mine for my AMD system. Could be better if I optimized it for restart time.

Got in my replacement Classified board today, so I'm going to be gone for a few hours getting that system up and running again. Reboot should be MUCH faster with my SSD's.

Is the boot in this score too or is it just windows , because if it is the raid controller takes the longest then G19 holds us up a bit.

I don't really value this much since it varies on me. One time it's 30something seconds, another time it's 50soemthing and then 40something. I never get a consistent reading.

Under a minute for all tests? I'd say that's pretty good for mechanical drive. Shows you have a well maintain registry and start-up programs.

Yeah, but the problem is the consistency. What is the point if I get say, 34 seconds, then next time I have it at 52 seconds?

The program is consistent. Your PC boot time isn't..

It could be range of processes that's causing this on your end.
