Default Crysis 2 tested with 30 CPUs

some 30 old and new, AMD and Intel CPUs are tested on Crysis, with a small study on how performance is affected by overclocking, the amount of L2/L3 Cache and the number of cores.

Stan, they will have the same results as the 950 or AMD 1090T. In past benchmarks, the results on Crysis and most every game showed pretty much equal performance with the top end CPU's. I know you depressed......LOL

We pretty much proved this 2 years ago when we compared Phenom II to Core i7. There are differences, yes, but the huge premium isn't worth it for gaming. That money is better spent on a better GPU. Honestly, your best bet is to go with a cheaper AMD setup, grab a strong GPU, and put the money still left over toward a new hotrod SSD.
