Default Need for speed no longer Underground

It seems that EA games wanted to break off from the "Underground" theme and make their newest game (Need for speed: ProStreet) a game that has a form of "legal" racing versus the "illegal" racing portrayed in the last 4 releases of the game.

So I'm basically wondering how other people who played the "underground" series likes this change in pace for this game.

i think its more about the gameplay and less about the title. its still catchy and its still part of the NFS franchise so i think it will do well.

    Ohhh hell yeah

The best NFS game was Most Wanted (opinion) i didn't really like the Underground series - as long as it has cops then it's a winner.

I personally liked Underground 2. It had the best performance and visual tweaking out of all of them...but if it had cops it would be 37.8% funner.

my fav. was NFS hot prusuit its all about the exotics imo. what id like to see come back into NFS is all those crazy roadster type cars that are worth like 1 million dollars. thats what i want to see come back to the game.

Ohhh good old Hot Pursuit - i got the second one on Gamecube :$

Opal speedster was 2nd i think. I don't know what ProStreet is like but if it had cops, car customization of underground, most wanted graphics and hot rods from carbon then it will be a winner.

in my opinion, as long as they keep an Impreza WRX(not the 08 model) in the game ill be happy
(and if they added a Saleen S281 would be an added bonus)

Also i think Carbon is just Most Wanted in the dark. But they made it to short....( i had 50% done in 1 day)
