    Default Halo 2 Help

Hey just installed vista i actually like it , alot of people don't i think the graphics are pretty good but its very slow of course. but on topic i try to run halo2 and weird i only get about 15 fps in game with fraps its not bad sluggish but pretty sluggish.

    my comp specs:
intel pentium D 2.8 gig processor (dual core)
    2 gigs dd2 ram memory
nvidia 6200 se with turbo cache

this is a pretty good comp and runs others games with high fps in 150+ but halo 2 its weird is there a way to increase fps in halo 2 or do i have a problem? any tips?

    the first problem is:
turbo cache steals from the system memory.

another problem is that a 6200 is a VERY low end card.

MY suggestion is to get a better graphics card
    What?

is it possible to disable turbo cache? and is there another way to incrase performance in this game? A good 20 fps would be better, mabe overclocking?

i don't think any overclock of any kind with that card will add 20 to your fps

like we have said, a better card would make a big difference

*edit* what kind of motherboard do you have? does it have PCI Express or AGP 4x/8x?
